Biographical history
J. Stuart Holden was born in Liverpool and studied at Cambridge under H.C.G. Moule. In 1905 he succeeded Griffith Thomas at St. Paul's, Portman Square, where he ministered for almost thirty years. From 1924 to 1930 he was chairman of the Keswick Convention Council.
