Partners in Ministry - research project proposal

Proposal for a research project titled "Partners in Ministry: a way forward for the leadership of Christian women in Sydney and beyond" created by Capitol Research on behalf of the ADSIL Board. Includes project outline, report on the context of female leadership, and the context of ministry training.

Papers relating to the Church of England migration scheme

The Church of England Migration Council brought out young women from the United Kingdom, and placed them under the care of Deaconess House. The young women were then placed in domestic service jobs in households. Deaconess Ruby Short took out a licence for the scheme under the Industrial Arbitration Act on 9th October 1939. Includes lists of 'girl domestics' with arrival dates, ship name and name of employer or caretaker. Also includes lists of Australians requesting domestics, and which type.

Academic gown, 2 academic hoods, clergy robe and two stoles - belonging to Narelle Jarrett. Donated by Leonie de Groen in 2022 after Narelle's death. The academic hoods are most likely for Narelle's degrees of ThL. (ACT, 1969) and BD (London, 1970).
