History

F.H.B. Dillon studied at Moore College and graduated in 1924 with the Licenciate in Theology. He was ordained deacon in 1924 and priest in 1925. After working as curate at St Andrew's Summer Hill, he spent 2 years with the Bush Church Aid Society. From 1926-1928 he was priest-in-charge in Willochra, and in 1928 was deputationist for BCA. He worked in parish ministry in various Sydney parishes until 1946 when he moved to Adelaide to become rector of Holy Trinity Church, Adelaide. In 1952 he became rector of St Clement's Mosman, and retired in 1959 and died the same year. He married Doris Percival in 1928.
