History

The Priscilla and Aquila Centre is a centre of Moore Theological College, launched in 2011 with Jane Tooher as founding director.
"The Priscilla & Aquila Centre focuses on encouraging women’s ministry in both local churches and para-church organisations.
The P&A Centre is named after Priscilla and Aquila, a remarkable Jewish couple whose labours for Christ left their mark not only on the lives of many but also on the New Testament record.
The Priscilla & Aquila Centre aims to

Encourage, strengthen, and improve the training of women for ministry at Moore College.
Promote a wide range of ministries by women in genuine complementary partnership with the ministries of men.
Strengthen and improve the practical expression of complementarianism at Moore College by teaching and modelling biblically faithful patterns of men and women in partnership in ministry.
Encourage and support women to pursue postgraduate theological study at Moore College.
Encourage women to write and publish at both a popular and academic level in the fields of theology, biblical studies, church history, ethics, ministry practice and missiology.
Communicate its work to the Moore College community and beyond." https://paa.moore.edu.au/about/
