Consideration and explanation of the happiness experienced with the knowledge that a future state exists, and the rewards and punishments to be experienced in that State. Concludes with an exhortation on the experiences of sinners and believers after death.

'And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son!' Theme: Prayer. Interprets the Gospel as an address to the disciples and everyone else. Determines to what extent Jesus will answer prayer and for what end he will answer the prayer. Concludes with the inference that some appear to embrace God and Jesus but their lives do not correspond with this. Warns of the time when religion will be tried.

Considers the description given of Believers, the exhortation addressed to God and the particular directions that accompany it. Refers to a person released from hospital as returning to the old ways and dying of a bowel complaint, and as having lost his soul.
