Notes from a training course Chapman attended stressing the importance of the various aspects of public speech, such as: diaphragmatic breathing, resonance, articulation, voice production, and body language. This indicates Chapman’s commitment to the development of his preaching craft.

This document records the text of an address given by Dr. Paul Barnett (Bishop of North Sydney) on the occasion of the launch of Chapman’s biography, For the Sake of the Gospel. Barnett reflects on the qualities that contributed to Chapman’s impact as an evangelist. He describes Chapman as a “theologian-evangelist, who may be the first in modern times to do evangelism in terms of such carefully considered theology.”
