Arguing against Jones' thoughts of returning to England, pointing out the improvements in his health and the opportunities associated with remaining in Australia and noting the good work being done by Jones in Bendigo. 2 newspaper cuttings accompanied this letter: the Theology Honours list for 1886 and an undated list. The source of these is not noted.
