She also mentions her great-grandmother Jane Harvie who arrived in Australia in 1838 with her parents who died in quarantine. She and her sibling were made wards of Bishop Broughton. Later Jane married John McCallum, a coachman from Mull, on 14th May 1851 at St James King St.
