Contains documents brought before the commission of inquiry which were used to help determine the validity of charges made against Duffus by the church wardens. Includes a schedule of documents which lists the document number, the commissary's number, the date the document was written and a brief description on the nature of the document.

Expresses his gratitude to Dr. Warniford for his monetary contribution towards the maintenance of the colonial churches. Examines the future monetary support of the Bishopric and the lack of support for successor. Reports on the building of churches and of the Cathedral. Gives an account of General Education in the colony.

Collected material relating to the Victorian Auxiliary centenary 1940

The Victorian Auxiliary celebrated its centenary in 1940. This series includes ephemera, correspondence and news clippings relating to the event, as well as collected correspondence and invoices for deliveries of Bibles from the years 1839-1853. These were apparently displayed at the centenary celebrations.

W.G. Broughton to Edward Coleridge, 25th February, 1839

Outlines reasons for abandoning scheme of investing subscription funds into real estate. Describes meeting with Mr. Moore who wishes the income from his freehold estate to be used to build and maintain the Cathedral of St. Andrew. Reports an the church and school estates. Protests about the Governor being directed by the Secretary of State to offer the church lands for sale. Highlights the importance of the Church of England's evangelistic cause.

W.G. Broughton to Edward Coleridge, 13th September, 1839

Reports on receiving donations from Coleridge. Sending newspaper clippings to Coleridge which contain a report on a meeting held in the Roman Catholic Chapel in which the resolution was passed requesting the Marquess of Normandy to remove the Protestant Bishop from his seat on the Executive and Legislative Councils. Expresses the opinion that the Roman Catholic's oath of supremacy should be abolished. Considering retiring from the Legislative Council.
