The Bible Society in Australia (Tasmania) was formerly the Tasmanian Auxiliary of the British and Foreign Bible Society. It became a state department of the Bible Society in Australia on incorporation in 1976. The Bible Society in Australia (Tasmania) was separately incorporated in 1995.

The mission of the Australian and New Zealand Theological Library Association Limited is to foster the study of theology and religion by enhancing the development of theological and religious libraries and librarianship (https://www.anztla.org/about-anztla). It was formed in 1986, out of the Association for Theological and Religious Studies Libraries. It consists of a Board and regional chapters (NSW, Vic, QLD, SA, WA, NZ). Its main activities are an annual conference, scholarship schemes for librarians in the South Pacific, and the publication of the ANZTLA ejournal, the Australasian Religion Index and the Australian Union List of Theological Serials. It has also produced Standards and a Style Manual for theological libraries. It has close ties with ATLA (formerly the American Theological Library Association).
The name of the body corporate known as “The Council of the Board of Education of the Diocese of Sydney” is changed to “Anglican Education Commission Diocese of Sydney”. - Anglican Education Commission Ordinance 1994.

The Anglican Counselling Centre was constituted in 1963 and incorporated in 1990. The Centre had its origins as the Marriage Guidance Centre, a ministry of St Andrew's Cathedral. In 1963, a council was constituted by ordinance to carry out the work of the Centre. It was integrated with the Sydney Anglican Home Mission Society (now Anglicare) in 2000.
