The Australian Branch was inaugurated on 1st March 1980. The Prayer Book Society in Australia was formed in 1983, with branches in NSW, South Australia and Victoria with Bishop Lionel Renfrey as patron, a sister society to those in England, Scotland, Canada, U.S.A and South Africa.

The Anglican Historical Society was previously known as the Church of England Historical Society, formed in 1955. The Patron is the Archbishop of Sydney.

Festival of Light began in the UK under the influence of Malcolm Muggeridge, Mary Whitehouse and Sir Cyril Black. Committees were first formed in Australia in 1972, thanks to the involvement of Rev Lance Shilton, and it was formally launched in Adelaide in 1973. The same year, Rev Fred Nile became leader of the NSW branch. It became a national organisation with a National Council and Executive, state branches, regional committees and local church action groups. Its aims include promoting Christian family and community values and lobbying national and community leaders on issues relating to public morality. It sponsored Australian tours of Muggeridge and Whitehouse. It has submitted many parliamentary petitions on topics including pornography, abortion, prostitution, drugs & alcohol. Uniting Church of Australia

The Uniting Church came into being on 22 June 1977, after three denominations – Congregational Union in Australia, the Methodist Church of Australasia, and the Presbyterian Church of Australia – joined together.

United Council for Protestant Action

The inaugural meeting was convened by the Loyal Orange Institution of NSW, and included representatives from the major Protestant denominations and associations. The aim was to organise a common organization to counteract Catholic action or other action by political or sectarian minorities. They were also opposed to Communism. From 1953 onwards they were known as the Protestant Council of NSW. The final meeting was held in 1967, and the Council was dissolved by the executive on 15th December 1974.

Moore Women

The Women's Fellowship was formed as a group of wives and fiancees of Moore College students, for mutual encouragement and fellowship, and to hear speakers who can help with spiritual development and equip as ministry wives. From 1995 they have published Magnolia magazine, usually twice a year.
