Robinson, Richard Bradley

Archdeacon Richard Bradley Robinson was born in Randwick, studied at Moore Theological College and was ordained in 1912. In 1916 he married Gertrude Ross. He was rector of several parishes including St Paul's Chatswood, St Barnabas Broadway and St Stephen's Willoughby. He was also a Canon of St Andrew's Cathedral, chaplain to the Deaconess Institution and a trustee of the estate of Thomas Moore. He retired in 1956 and died in 1966.

Marie Robinson (nee Taubman) was the wife of Bishop Donald Robinson. She served as ex officio President of the Mothers' Union Sydney from 1975-1980 and from 1986-1989.

Robinson, Donald William Bradley

Donald William Bradley Robinson was born in 1922 and ordained Deacon in 1950 and Priest in 1951. In 1952 he was appointed lecturer at Moore Theological College and was Vice-Principal of the College from 1959 until 1972. He was Canon of St. Andrew's Cathedral, Sydney, from 1964 to 1973 and taught Divinity at Sydney University from 1964 to 1980. In 1973 he was appointed Bishop of Parramatta, a position he held until his appointment as Archbishop of Sydney and Metropolitan of New South Wales in 1982. He retired from the position of Archbishop in 1993 and was succeeded by Harry Goodhew. Donald Robinson died on September 7, 2018, at HammondCare North Turramurra.

Bruce Reed was born in Melbourne and trained as an architect before studying at Moore College. He married Mary Robinson in 1948. In 1957 he set up the Christian Teamwork Trust in Britain, which became the Grubb Institute of Behavioral Studies in 1969. He worked as an organisational analyst consultant for large corporations as well as both the Anglican and Roman Catholic Churches. In 1978 he published The Dynamics of Religion. After Mary's death in 2003, he married his colleague Jean Hutton and then died the same year.
