H.N. Powys studied at Moore College from 1914-1916 and was ordained priest in 1917. He served as Rector in Picton, Penrith, Emu Plains, Annandale, Neutral Bay and Rose Bay/Vaucluse. From 1943-1948 he was the honorary clerical organising secretary at Moore College. From 1950-1957 he was Rural Dean of East Sydney. In 1951 he was appointed a Canon of St Andrew's Cathedral.

Vincent Craven was Secretary of Scripture Union in Australia, and the first Secretary of Scripture Union and Children's Special Service Mission in NSW. Her served as YMCA Welfare Officer on the Kokoda Trail in PNG during WW2. In 1946 he went to Canada to become acting National Director of Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship. He was also General Director of Ontario Pioneer Camps. He established Christian Camping International in Canada and served as National President.

Hercus, John Macky

John Hercus was born in South India, and raised in Hamilton, NZ. In 1930 he was awarded a scholarship to study science at Sydney University. He graduated with a medical degree in 1942, the same year he married Marjorie Ormiston. They had four children. He joined the AIF at the start of WW2, and served as an ophthalmologist. He worked as an ophthalmologist and ophthalmic surgeon in various Sydney hospitals. He was involved in the Sydney University Evangelical Union as a student, holding the office of President from 1940-1941. He was a founding member of the IVF Graduates' Fellowship, IVF Vice-President 1969, and President in 1972 and 1973.
