Administrative correspondence sent and received by the Commonwealth and Australian secretaries of the Bible Society. Rev Herbert M. Arrowsmith and Rev James R. Payne held these positions successively. The name changed from Commonwealth Secretary to Australian Secretary when the Bible Society in Australia was incorporated in 1976.
